I wake up...get outta bed.
I can't sleep. We've decided to buy a house and we've accepted their counter offer. That means we're buying a house unless something gets hosed during the loan finalization or the home inspection. Oh.my.god. I woke up in a tizzy about it. The house is beyond my wildest dreams so if we end up not getting it I won't be shocked, but if we DO....oh.my.god. I'll giggle right up til the time when that first payment is due. It has a pool. oh.my.god. Send good vibes and paypal donations pls.

Work has been great. I'm busy but happy. Here's a funny email that came yesterday:
Is there a way to find out who typed "i'm rick james bitch" as the login for MTP or would I have to login to each machine to see which one has that listed as a login? UGH!!!

Halloween has been fun so far. We went to gayle and wil's party and had a great time dancing in the living room. I don't like this holiday but their party and our new tradition of playing movies on the roof on Halloween night has made it better. Tess is either a kangaroo, dinosaur or dragon this year and my mom called yesterday to say she's gotten Max a monkey costume. Kendall's a hippy. Maddy, Doug, Gayle, Will, and all of their kids and my folks will all be coming over to trick-or-treat so it should be a good time. I'm so glad it's on a Friday this year!

Pampered Chef selling has been going pretty well. I've had some parties and made back all of the money I spent buying the starting up kit PLUS I earned $200 in free stuff which I promptly spent. I only have one more party lined up though, that's Gayle's on the 16th. I need to book more shows or I need to take some time off to get myself ready for moving. eek.

ALSO: I've made a bold step in trying to prepare for being house-poor. I'm going to find a cheap beer that I can live with. We all have to make sacrifices and this is a biggie for me. Suggestions other than miller light are welcome. I'm finding that yeuengingalingaling in the can is more tolerable than the bottle.

Max, the lady killer at 10 months old
So now that Max is almost 11 months old I guess it's time to update him.
He's not walking yet but can stand without holding onto things. He has 4 teeth and is not afraid to use them. This week he bit dan and suzie! I think that means more teeth are on the way.
He barely says mama but it's in there and he doesn't like to hold his bottle but he can. This max might have a case of the lazy-obrien-boy-gene.
I believe max is waiting til he's 11 months old to walk so that he can be like his siblings. He's ready to go though!

reprieve and chili nachos
Last night dan and I went out in the middle of the week without our kids. It seems like a lot longer than it probably has been since we did that but it was a welcome break. Here's how it went down...we bribed Kendall and Trevor to watch Max and Tess and then we met up w/ friends at hard times. We were gone for almost 2 hours too and only had 1 phone call. Of course when we came home they were still here, but it was fun while it lasted, right?

Lovelovelove
October is the best month for me. It's been so brisk out and we've had tons going on. Tess turned 3 in Sept. Kendall turned 13 last weekend. We have been inundated with party after party and lots of fun. In the next 2 weeks I have 3 pampered chef parties, a jewelry party and supper club. We also have gayle and wil's halloween party on Oct. 25. (hint hint tlee, find a sitter and come play).
I'm not sure if it's really too early to be Christmas shopping but I've started having those urges already. It's good that most of my friends are girls since uhhhh, pampered chef will most likely provide Christams. The big kids want cash this year. I'm feeling all oogy about that but my mom said that it'll make life easier on me and that they can get the after-christmas sales. I'm still tossing it around in my head though. I guess it's a good thing that Tess and Max are around to keep the magic of things alive since my other kids are money grubbing ingrates. ha.
