Dan and other good stuff

Yesterday Dan helped me change ups batteries at school and he helped me repair a printer sensor that involved taking the entire gd thing apart. When I say helped, I mean he did it for me. It's an oddity that when I'm at work I can do stuff but when I have my husband there I suddenly can't figure these things out. It's wonderful though because I do learn a lot by watching him do my job ;)

Saturday's first pc party went pretty good. I only forgot to do like 10 or 15 things but I was among friends and Amy gave me some helpful ideas on how to stay on track next time. (an outline...who knew?? ha). The next party is at Suzie's house and by then I plan to be more organized and by the time I get to Chrissy's party a week later it'll be smooove sailing. Grammy OB, I mailed you a package yesterday so I'll call you sometime and go over anything you needta know.

This is a big birthday week so I'm trying to wrap my head around everything that needs to be done for Tessie's party tomorrow and Becky's on Saturday. It's gonna be fun or I'll kill myself making it so.

dogs

Jake called as he was driving to work to say "mom, you guys need to stay in the house for a while. I saw 2 mean looking dogs running around the neighborhood". I said "ok Jake, we'll stay in". He said "good, don't die!".

That was the nicest thing he's done in a long time.

we are the dinosaurs marching, marching

-Jake had a possum in his bed this past Sunday.

-Dan used a really new (to me) word at lunch today. It always makes me love him more when he does that.

-Max has 2 teeth and looks like a jack-o-lantern.

-we're having tessie's birthday party on a wednesday which is weird to me, but perfect for us.

-I have my first pampered chef party this saturday and I'm not having panic attacks yet.

-Jake has a "lady friend" and won't tell me her name. It's become our main topic of conversation. This is good since we really don't have much else to talk about except that he's reading Rant by Chuck palalalalunatic and I love that book too.

-Tess loves going to suzie's house so much that when I walk in the door she screams GO AWAY!! I secretly love it and little does she know that I'd really LOVE to go away sometimes.

-I just read my bottle of vodka and wondered why it says "potato vodka". I thought that's what vodka's made of. Add one more thing to my google list.

-I'm supposed to be dieting but the closest I've come to it is giving up my mcdonalds breakfasts and ditching dinner for beer.

-Lately I can't sleep much past 3:30am. I have so much to do, but then I wake up and I can't think of what to do.

-We're going to the river next weekend for Becky's birthday and I'm so stoked, but also very curious about how we'll set up rock band 2 in the yard and project it onto the house. Also I don't know if we should cook or just take a shload of kfc and already-fixed stuff.

-I love the word shload

-Max is up.

9 months in, 9 months out

toofy grin, originally uploaded by Krystal OBrien.

In Max's 9th month he got 2 teeth, his first ear infection and became more mobile than I can possibly stand. He got his new babysitter, ms. suzie and is very lucky he's so cute, otherwise people might not hold him ALL_THE_TIME!

Giving in to addiction

After a few years of spending Dan's hard earned money on Pampered Chef, I've decided to go ahead and sell it. I really love this stuff and it's turned me into someone who has ingredients in the house instead of just having food. Peggy used to always tease me because everything I cooked came straight from the freezer and went to the microwave but now I can actually cook a thing or two and it doesn't taste bad! So if anyone reading this is interested in hosting a party or coming to one or just wants to talk to me about it, please email me at krystalc@gmail.com. I don't have a pampered chef website yet because I have to earn it. I hope to do that by the end of my first month. In fact, I hope to earn more money than I spend. Oh also, my California peeps...you can have a book party long distance and earn lots of nifty free stuff too!

HA. You guys read the subject of this post and thought it was about beer, didn't ya?
