Balsamic vinegrette

It's made from balsa trees!

This morning I woke up with only the slightest of hangovers. It's a miracle though because last night I drank ummmm lemme see, 2 beers at Stacy's house before my folks got home with my car. Why were they bringing my car home? BECAUSE I locked the keys in the car at wawa and they had to fetch it for me. *sigh* This was after a stressful morning and before a parent teacher conference with Kendall's teacher. Ok, so 2 @ Stacy's house, 2 at my house over dinner.... 2 while trick or treating and then 4 back at Stacy's house afterwards. YEP. That's 10 beers. I also had a shot of 7 year old rum from the dominican republic. The kids had a blast with their friends and I got to TP a car with Stacy and her husband Alexis. I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 5am. The coolest part about today is that I haven't showered and it's noon. I've also eaten a good amount of candy and a really great breakfast.

I did a quick review of my finances this morning. Basically subtracting what I *have* to pay from the money I have. There's -75.00 left over. That's not bad, right? I've been in worse situations...I'm sure. at some point, right? :) Hell, if nothing else, at least we have food.

I have been unable to shake my negative outlook on life for the past week. It's got to be the job that's doing it to me but I feel so negative even when I'm home. I lack the inspiration to do anything above and beyond getting us up and out of here in the morning. It's my short week though so this week maybe I'll find something to do with my days off that be uplifting. I could go find a second job. It'd solve that -75. situation.

On the bright side...
My kids have been a complete joy this week. Jake walked out without his lunch Friday and when I called Max's house to have him come get it, he came in and hugged me and said he loved me. Then he hugged Trevor and Kendall and told them that he loves them. I may not have any money and I might drink and smoke and cuss... but I made 3 kids who love each other. Let's hope I can keep feeding em for a few more weeks. Just 14 days til payday!!! :)
